correcting a mistake

I was making a portable gate to use for the dog.  It was modeled after our railing/baluster  design.  The balusters are 1.25 inches square and are in groups of three.  The groups are spaced 3 inches apart.  There are a total of 12 balusters.  I had everything painted and stained and had assembled the balusters to the handrail and the bottom rail.  I went to attach the sides and realized I had cut the balusters too long.  :(  Instead of disassembling the balusters, I made severals marks for the correct length, supported the balusters, aligned the guide rail, and made the cut with my TS55.  Now I had to only remove the cutoffs from the bottom rail and reassemble the shortened balusters to the bottom rail.  The guide rail and saw made correcting this mistake incredibly easy.

Tom,

No.  I just used four 15 ga. finish nails.

I do not have a Domino but I would like one.
