Hi,

I am sure I'm not the only one who thought of these, but I don't remember seeing them posted yet.

I was changing my blade today and decided the green Splinter Guards may as well be as close to zero clearance as possible. So I grabbed a sharpie and labeled one for each blade. F  = Fine, U = Universal, etc.  No biggy to change the SP while you are changing the blade.

While setting up the Parallel Stop ( rip guide ) for a cut I realised a handy way to measure the width. Lock the blade down with the Fast Fix. Makes it real easy to put the end of a rule against a tooth and look straight down at the inside edge of the guide.

Seth,

I do the same with Splinter Guards, but take it one step further.  I mark the blade part number on the Splinter Guard.  If I buy another blade, it gets its own splinter guard.

Dan.
