Just moved and rebuilding my home shop. Kapex station was the first thing to be built and have it all situated now. In designing it, the area directly under the saw houses my CT26 perfectly... but forgot to take into account the hose that sticks out of the front. the 36mm hose protrudes just a little too far for my taste. Honestly, in using it constantly over the last week while renovating, it hasn't really been in the way, but I worry that I will catch it and/or get frustrated with it at some point. The area is just wide enough for the kapex above and the ct26 does not fit "sideways." I am curious if anyone knows if I can run the ct26 while it is sitting on it's back (the side with the removeable power cord caddy) without ill effect?

I did not like the hose protruding from My vac with WCR and self made boom so, I bought a 90 coupler from Oneida so hose sticks straight up, actually have a bunch of those 90s I use various setups.

I can't speak to running the CT26 on its back, but my vac goes all the way to the front of the space under the miter saw also, and I ended up using this.

Depending on how much it's sticking out now, it could get you back far enough.

It's just described as 2.5 inches, which isn't very helpful, but one end fits perfectly in the vac port, and the other end fits your 36mm hose just fine.

What is a good source for those couplers?  Direct from Oneida doubles the price with shipping.  I've seen Dust Deputy in some retailers, but wasn't sure about the connectors/elbows.

Check Rockler and Woodcraft - if you have those locally.  Pretty sure both of those carry a 90 elbow.
The hose sticking way out the front is the reason I have the CT MIDI against the wall next to the Kapex.  The top mounted hose inlet is much less obtrusive for tight locations.

Festool makes a 90 degree hose adapter. This should solve your issue.

Festool 500673 Hose Sleeve, Antistatic Angle Adapter

Jason, the Festool adaptor only fits the small hoses. The Oneida fits any hose with the vac inlet size , 2.5".
