CT-33 Air Compressor Uses

Oh, I love this.  Go spend your bosses money on stuff.  It'll improve production & you'll have a blast.
I think that's why the police drive those cool Harley Davidsons :D

I spend my boss' money everyday. He has never accused me of going cheap.  ;D In fact, this is the source of my present Festool affliction. When one spends his entire career looking for the best machines and cutting tools with which to be productive...............

This is my router table.  ;D ;D

This is not my video but we have and use this very machine. You can see why I responded as I did above. Fully decked out it is about 1 million, or at least it was before the dollar started dropping. Festool isn't the only German company making cool stuff, eh?

Nifty machine, Greg.

Doesn't that music get annoying on the shop floor?  :D

I wonder if there's a DIN standard for industrial video music?  :D

Wow, for a router table, I bet it can make coffee.  ;D
Thanks, I wasn't sure what I was watching at first, but I couldn't stop watching.  I wanted to know what your fully articulated CNC machine was making.  I didn't think it would finish if I kept watching though.  It's like watching water boil, it won't till you walk away.  ;D

Yeah petty cash is more like it. Let just say almost the whole floor in the paint shop we put down stainless steel, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The stainless is nice though, because it cleans up nice, and before we painted the floor, we would alays have to repaint to make it look nice. So they might of put tens of thousands of dollars down on the floor, the outcome saves money by not painting (better on the environment), and they dont have to pay us overtime to paint it. Back to the sander though, I dont know if the boom arm would work because these truck bodies are going down a line on dollies, and there is usually one person on each side of the truck, and not a whole lot of room in your work area to dodge a boom arm, but they also wouldn't be dragging the hose from one side to the other either. If it could replace what they are using and have better dirt control, and ergonomics, it would be easy to sell them twenty or thirty sanders, I just need to find out exactly what they are using to see if Festool could have an upperhand. The only thing is, they usually don't need to burn through the paint, they just polish out imperfections, Well if I have a bad night painting, they might have to sand all my mistakes off and repaint it. My coworkers and I usually don't do that though. The man would come down on us if we did ;D

Hi,
I use my pneumatic sander all the time & have only just got the boom , mainly for routing.  I don't feel it's imperative for the air sander.  I always worked with an air D/A sander for woodwork & often I snake the air line along my arm & then over the shoulders to the floor.  Holding it this way turns my body itself into a boom arm. This method always keeps the hose off the surface I'm sanding.
I now do this with my Festool sander as well.  The beauty of this sander is the single hose for air power, exhaust & vacuum.  While the hose is a little stiff it goes up the arm & over the shoulder quite comfortably.  If you are staying fairly stationary, as it sounds, this will work quite well.  By supporting the hose weight at the arm the sander is light to maneuver.  Much lighter than an electric ;)
