Other than spreading the prongs apart on the plug cords, are there any solutions to the wimpy outlet where the plug continually fall out?
Is my outlet bad, or is this normal?

There's the old style outlet, and the newer one. The newer one on my CT-26 seems more rugged than the older style that was on my CT-22, and was replaced once for just what you stated about.
They look a bit different too between the two types.

Good info.  I have the CT-Midi purchased early 2014.
Do I contact Festool or buy the part?

Thanks

Your CT should be under warranty, yes?  In the past, they just mailed me another Outlet, but not sure what they'd do now. Contact the service dept. and go from there.

Will do.
Thanks

EDIT:  A new outlet is on it's way.  [smile]    Not sure why I didn't do this in the first place.....  I don't always like to phone for support.
