I need to hook up some non-festools for dust collection, and I've found the vacuum end of the hoses work in all of the other tools. (Router fence, Table saw, etc).

I can't discern which part number in the Festool catalog equates to the vac ends of the various hoses.  Any insite would be greatly appreciated...

edit* I actually found my answer (festool part # 452896 ), but I'm confused about what the "tool" end of the D50 hose looks like.  Is it reduced like the D36 to fit over the tool ports, or is it sized like the inlet on the vac for attaching another hose?

the d50 hoses that I have are the same size on both sides.  They are the same size as the ends of the d27 and d36 that fit in the vac.  To connect the d50 with another hose you have to add a coupler if you will.  The d50 has to male ends that fit in the vac either way you put it in.  to connect the d50 and another hose you need this:

hope this helps/makes sence.

That is what I was hoping it had.  thanks.

Forrest, that is exactly the information I was looking for and exactly the reason I frequent this forum.

Thanks!
