Has anyone switched their regular bags out for this one, and what are your thoughts with it.

I have.  Glad I did, as the Cty-Sys loses suction faster when the bag gets above a certain level as compared with other CTs.

I bought it about a week of using the SYS. It helps a lot but it also helps to have another CT to vac out the life long bag. It is the only life long bag I own but works well. Main reason I got it was to have a very portable "drywall sander" with my 125 EC connected. Runs for a while, then I take the bag out and vac it out with my CT 26.  Works a peach!

Cheers. Bryan.

Thanks for the replies. I had vaguely remembered the bag level issue and losing suction as a result on the little CT-Sys.  Still on the fence about getting one until I try it out more at my local dealer.... [scratch chin] [scratch chin]

LOL gotta vacuum out the vacuum?!

Just remember: When you clean the vacuum cleaner, you become the vacuum cleaner.

Sure, spend $500-$775 to vacuum out your $80 long life bag. (Says the guy that has five CT vacs.) [tongue]

Sounds totally logical to me , Brice.... [poke]

I find the Long life bag on the ct-sys more useful than the larger vacs. I use the ct sys for general cleanup as I'm on installs, I end up emptying the bag every day.

For the dust I just go outside with a makita blower and give it a quick hit before it goes back in.
