CT22 Plug Problem

I recently installed the CT-ASA Boom Arm to my CT22 and discovered that the plug on my CT22 (where the Plug-it power cords connects) is loose and does not provide a tight fit for the plugs.  Any ideas on how to fix.  I have to position the plug just right so it will not move.  There is no problem with any of the cords, just the socket on the CT22.

PD,

Contact Festool Customer Service in the morning.  There might be a problem with the receptacle.  Their phone number is on a label on all of your tools.

I had to replace mine because it became loose.

Just got my CT22 and noticed it was a bit loose as well.  My TS55 came unplugged while cutting a couple of times, but since it was the first time using the saw with the vac I assumed it was user error. hmm.

Being loose is not necessarily an issue.  If the tool works intermittently and you have to wiggle the plug, then...

I know, I know, I do have a tendency to whine.  As an aside, I brought it my 22 onsite for the first time today and I had to correct a few people that it wasn't just a "vacuum" but a dust collection system!

As another aside, a fellow cabinet installer hired me for a day to miter some finished panels around an island because he knew I had a 55...He'd pay me for a day's labor, but the saw is "way too expensive" for him!  go figure.

Maybe he likes to watch you work.

Apparently he does, since I'm going back tomorrow.  Dude could've purchased a saw by now. Oh well, more for me.

Don't question why.  Just do.

I have customers who I swear just wanted to talk while I worked.
