CT25 Use Cases

European CT's have 1.5mm² cord
Yeah, but we have 230 Volts of power at our disposal!

I will be upgrading mine to a 2.5 purely as I do not want to damage the original CT cable, will be made into a light-but-heavy-duty extension cord instead. Its plug is just awesome.

Will be putting a short, under 1 meter, TITANEX cord with an industrial plug, replacing the top with a HD version, tub will move to 26 for mobile work as well. With a 48 tub for AC work put sideways. Original 36 tub is already earmarked for a friend. A complete makeover of sorts.

These days I do not use flexible cords of less than the 3G2.5 type. The "former" CT cord will actually become an exception and be my "light" extension cord. Not a necessity, I just hate it when needing to unwind the 3G1.5 cable drums before serious use so standardized on 2.5 and industrial plugs wherever feasible.

*) Yes, Yes, I do have a couple 20 meter 3G6 extenson cords as well, just in case I need more than 50 meters.
