OK, after using my CT26 with the TS55 and track for a few days and getting disgusted because the hose and cord kept getting hung up  >:(, I decided to take the advice of many FOGgers and sprung the $365 loose for a boom  [eek].  It's being delivered today so I'm really hoping it makes the saw more enjoyable to use.  I'll let you know.

The difference will be day & night.  [thumbs up]

Clearly use of the Festool boom concept  is invaluable. But, depending on your use - never leaves the shop, outside, etc., and not wanting to sound like a cheapskate, you might want to make a similar device of 1" grey CPVC (electrical) pipe.

Then you could use the difference for another sander  ;D or ....
