CT26 Boom

OK, after using my CT26 with the TS55 and track for a few days and getting disgusted because the hose and cord kept getting hung up  , I decided to take the advice of many FOGgers and sprung the $365 loose for a boom  [eek].  It's being delivered today so I'm really hoping it makes the saw more enjoyable to use.  I'll let you know.

Clearly use of the Festool boom concept  is invaluable. But, depending on your use - never leaves the shop, outside, etc., and not wanting to sound like a cheapskate, you might want to make a similar device of 1" grey CPVC (electrical) pipe.

Then you could use the difference for another sander  ;D or ....
