I have a CT36 and today while ripping off the edge of 7 foot piece of casing with the TS55, the vac acts like it's losing power or the variable speed is acting erratically.  The saw experienced no such issues though.  I ripped 4 pieces and it happened each time.  In the course of the cut it slowed and sped up 3 to 4 times.  Any suggestions.  I have not noticed this before.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.

It's possible that, if you were pushing the cut or overloading the circuit or using a long extension cord, that the CT was not getting full power.

If you feel like it's a persistent problem, please contact our service department at the number below for assistance troubleshooting.

I will keep an eye on it.  There was a fairly new blade on the TS55 and I was cutting 5/8" thick poplar.  Thanks

Hmm, yeah, 5/8" poplar isn't going to tax the saw, even with the stock fine-tooth blade.

Anything else on the circuit by chance being used?
