Hi FOG

First post, and hopefully in the right forum section!!

Wanted to post my adapter i made for my Makita Biscuit Cutter. Recently received my Festool CTL SYS and am loving the portability and functionality of the small unit. Its my second Festool purchase after my ETS 150/3 with has blown my mind in how amazing it is over other sanders i have used.

Of course i have been going crazy attaching the CTL SYS to every non-festool machine i own and so far it has been great, but of course been hitting a few snags with trying to get the smaller 27mm hose on to all of the machines dust extraction.

So here is one of the solves a 3D printed connection from the biscuit cutter to the hose.

Will be testing it out hopefully in the next few days!

Cheers

hi, VERRRY nice, I have the exact same problem and all solutions tried are not very good :-)
Would you mind sharing the 3D File please ?

In case you print it anyway, wouldn't it make sense to design it to fit around the festool nozzle (so it could also lock) instead of inside (where it reduces the width => more resistance => lower airflow) ?

I designed such an adapter. The connection to the hose is stiff and a little difficult to remove, so it is working as expected!
