I called customer service Wednesday to ask about the socket on my CT33 not holding the power cord prongs tightly - A new one came today.  She (the woman in customer service) was kind, understanding, and I wasn't put on hold. It amazes me at how good that made me feel.  Keep up the good customer service Festool, Thanks!

Glad to hear it, Tim.  [thumbs up] PS - That was likely Debby that you spoke to.  I'll be sure to let her know about your compliment.

Between Debbie, David and Lester (?) I am always taken care of quickly and with an attitude that makes me smile.

Hajikiakma from makita leaves a little to be desired though. [big grin]

They are at the top of the food chain in customer service for sure. I do miss the California gang, Mark was an integral part of Festool.

I just ordered some brushes for my Kapex. Same experience. Courteous people on the phone and quick order processing. Isn't it great when you actually get a person on the phone quickly?

I am generally thrilled when I can get a person on the phone at all!

Here in SA, EVERY other brand leaves a lot to be desired. We mainly deal with the store directly where we bought our Festool from. Never get lame excuses about being out of stock or parts being unavailable. It was purely for the service that I decided to switch to Festool for my little carpentry company. it was only after using it that I realised that my life would end without their range of tools. Even on weekends, if I'm not working, I still go and say hello to my Festools. If you consider that almost any given Festool (powered) product here, costs almost 3 times the average monthly salary, thats saying a lot.
If I don't have the money to buy a Festool, I don't buy anything. I'd rather do it by hand than use any other make!!
