Sorry no. There is no eccentric chuck that works on the CXS that I know of--

You don't really need it. The right angle attachment can get in tight as does the standard "chuck".

One of my favorite Festools... would replace it the same day it broke. I have had mine for almost 4 years now.

Sounds exactly like something a sales weasel would say when he doesn't have the product a customer is looking for.  Who are you to say what someone needs or doesn't.

Besides, botter was not asking about a right angle chuck.  Even so your info is waaaay off base as the right angle and even the CXS standard and centrotec chucks are at least DOUBLE the centerline distance to the bit center than that of the eccentric chuck that fits the papa bear sized drills.

Sometimes that eccentric chuck makes all the difference -  like with the wall cabinet suspension system the Italian cabinet makers seem to favor.  While the std CXS gets close, it's still not really good enough for some operations. 

I'll bet the eccentric chuck wasn't/isn't a big seller here in NA or elsewhere for that matter, so I'm not surprised it wasn't part of the x.XS design mandate.

Lighten up man. Geesh. I have put screws in very tight corners with the right angle attachment plenty of times.

Referring to me as a sales weasel is a troll way to attack someone. Saying you disagree would have been fine. If you have a problem with me (you seem to want to pick fights with plenty of people here) PM me. Maybe we can have a conversation about it offline... like gentlemen.

Back to the OP, perhaps you could clarify why you are inquiring...  do you have a CXS and looking at a good deal on the adapter?

You're the one that told Shopbot he didn't need an eccentric chuck based on (I presume ) your experience.  How can you determine whether he needs one or not ?  Heck, he may just want one for the what if factor.

We've all made do with other means for driving into tight spaces - heck I've even used and old time human powered long shaft screwdriver to get into tight corners.  But that's not the discussion.  The eccentric chuck is a great tool for when the actual need arises - don't dismiss it, or tell someone they "don't need it" because you've deemed it not relevant or of value to you.

I'll assume you weren't being churlish with the comment, but to justify saying someone can do without a tool because you've done without it is just wrong.

As bk says, the CXS is great for getting into confined spaces.  I've put up several wall units using European fixings and found it works fine.  I've never found a situation it wouldn't work.

I like it because the body is so small too.  I was disassembling a TV cabinet at the weekend, and a bigger drill/driver with a right angle head wouldn't have got in narrow space where the drawer below ran.

I own everything that's is in discussion here. Sure, the cxs won't quite achieve what the eccentric chuck of the larger drills can, but with a slightly longer screw bit and/or the angle chuck it can come mighty close. The body of the drill is so narrow.

I've also regularly come up against situations where i can't squeeze in my T-18 and angle chuck but the smaller cxs and angle chuck will get to it..
