Hi everyone
My festool dealer here in Omaha did an awesome job covering my back today.
I was finishing up a job for a client who lost both her legs in Jan of this year. (By the way she came home today, her 93rd B-day. ) Any way i built a template slideboard so she can transfer from the wheel chair to the toilet to the shower. It will be used about a week to decide where to put all the grab bars, how big the drain slots need to be .... and then I will craft her one out of medium density poly and aluminum.
Anyway I cut the thing out and realised that it would be too rough and needed sanding. Midwest Woodworkers is about 2 miles away. I asked if i could borrow a sander. Gerry took down my name and gave me the RO150 display model to take to the job.
So it is a win win win today. I finished, she came home, and my dealer will be selling me a sander next month. Here i thot that buying the OF 1010 last week would satisfy my habit.
btw the sander is so aggressive in rotary mode.
thanks Craig
