Hey all,
Not new to Festool, but when I bought my track saw I was totally new to Festool (It was my first green purchase).  Years later, I have never ever used the tracksaw for anything other than sheet goods and once a rip of an 8/4 board.  At the time I thought "go big or go home", but now I'm thinking the middle one is "just right."  I don't see myself utilizing the capabilities of the TS 75, but the TS 60 seems to be a nice balance between the 55 and 75.  I don't care about the plug-it cord vs hardwired. So I have two questions for the group though:

1) Any thoughts on moving to the TS 60 (and selling my TS 75)
2) Is the 55" rail good enough or should I go with the 75" rail?

The TS60 is great and will probably fit that middle ground just fine. Unless you "need" the extra cut depth of the TS75, it's overkill. If all you ever do is sheet goods, the TS60 is too, but I would still choose it over the TS55. The only down-side to the 60 over the 55 is cost.

A far as tracks, that's a rabbit-hole in itself. The TS75 comes with the 1900 rail because of the physical size of the saw itself. It takes more overhang to function than the smaller saws. That aside, longer rails are handy. The 1400 rails can barely make it across a 4' sheet in a square cut. At an angle, you are joining or moving the rail on a line.
In a nutshell, get the TS60 with a 1400LR32 rail, get some connectors, keep the 1900 rail, sell the TS75 (if you don't use it)

That was kind of my thinking, keep the existing 1900 rail that I have and I also already have an LR32-1400.  Since you get a small discount on the rail when buying a saw, I was thinking 1900 rail for the extra 89 bucks (over the package with the saw and the 1400 rail).  I doubt very seriously I'll ever really need the extra 13mm the 75 affords, so it might be up for sale soon. :)
