Depth stop countersink

I like the idea of the depth-stop countersink, but I'm not a fan of fluted countersinks.  I know the cutter is replaceable, but can a zero-flute countersink be used instead?

Festool Countersinks with depth stop are combined with a pilot bit, the "zero flute" as you call it would probably not work with a pilot bit added due to its intrinsic desgn.

Have you tried a Festool depth stop countersink bit such as Brice Burrell posted a picture of, in reply to your post on TalkFestool?
I think you would be pleasantly surprised at how good they are. [smile]

Works now!  Sound!    It was strange when you clicked on it it came up with error page but when I highlighted it and copied and pasted it it worked fine.  Dont know what you did. lol
