Dewalt Top 17 Voting is open - need some support

I am one of the DeWalt 17 finalists.    This contest has many nice projects displaying high levels of finish carpentry.    I am campaigning not for myself, but for all 17 of us and am simply asking everyone to go to www.dewalt.com/top17 and view the projects.  Then vote for the project that YOU feel demonstrates the highest level of finish carpentry amongst the 17 entries.  There are several worthy of this....now its up for you to decide.

nickao-  Thank you very much!  There are many nice projects to get to vote for.  The contest is over and I am just asking everyone to keep going to www.dewalt.com/top17 and view the many fine entries.  Just vote for your favorite project that earned YOUR vote!    This has been a nice experience being fortunate to get into this Top 17.  But,  in all honesty....the "best"  didnt even enter this contest.    I know all too well from my career as first a trim carpenter then a curved stairbuilder...that there are hundreds of fine craftsman out there that didnt enter.  I get around and see their work and just in my small are of expertise...curved stairways...I have seen stairs that I thought GOD himself had built.  It keeps me feeling small seeing such displays of talent...and I just crawl back into my stairshop with a catalyst inside me to keep pressing on and improving my own work.  I have a long way to go...and making this group of 17 makes me feel a little sheepish as I know there are many more quailified out there that could and should be in my shoes.

Can't argue with that. I wish I could get a commission for a project like it.

I have only ever done one curved staircase and the architects design was not as nice as yours Stan, awesome work!

Congrats to Stan Foster the stair guy!!! Awesome job and well deserved. I tried my best and the superior project won in the end - the way it is supposed too. Great competeing with ya Stan! Enjoy the Cherry - you earned it!
