DF500 12mm stock jig seen on the 'net

I've worked with thin stock (as thin as 5mm ply!) on the DF500 without using any jig. I came across this video:=15s , which may be of interest to some who have a 3-D printer.

I opened this thinking that it was referring to a jig to use the 12mm tenons with a DF500.

It looks like something my biscuit joiner would do easier than a domino.

What dimension domino would you use in 5mm thick material? 5mm is just 0.196”.  So a domino 0.125” thick would center between 0.0355” sides. 

I would think almost any other type of joint would be more robust.  For example, a dado, half lap, etc.

One of the sorting trays has been in use for over two years (close to three now), and the joints have stayed as strong as in day 1. Nothing has come apart (but one corner has a "bruise" mark after the tray was knocked off the bench once).
