I had my midi dust extractor plugged into my generator and my mitre saw plugged into the dust extractor I was doing some hard cutting and the dust extractor cut out and won't work now it's in warrenty but is it simple as a fuse has blown or is it broke ? Any help is welcome cheers

Easiest thing to do is wait a couple hours and check if its the thermal protection.  If not that, give your local service center a call and see what they suggest.

My Midi has done it a couple of times when sanding plaster/easifill with the Mirka. Usually the tool keeps working but the midi shuts down. Change of bag and wait till it cools and it should go again. If the Kapex isn't working on the plug it may be something else.

Ok I'll give it go tomorrow when it's cooled down, I don't own a kapex it's a makita

Yep mines done it twice too. Just unplug wait and plug back in and it should work. Mine was  while sanding with my multimaster it must have over heated the midi

Ours also shut off recently. Ms Untidy was vacuming her studio and the hose was found to be blocked. Cleared hose, waited, checked warranty  [smile], all good and no issues since.
