DIY Slop Stop

Has anyone made a slop stop for the mft track.  I have some hdpe to use so I can make instead of spending $20.
I can get the dimensions off of the track.  If you made one, how did it go.

I just stuck a small strip of HDPE tape on each side of the channel where the wear marks showed on the track. Has worked fine for a couple years.

That sounds like an easy solution.  I may have some of that tape.  Will try that first.
