Does anyone else see a problem?

My flight got delayed a few hours today so I picked up the new Fine Homebuilding to kill some time. Am I the only one that thinks something in this add is wrong? Don't get me wrong , my HKC55 has made me a ton of money since I got it. I truly love the tool. But I think someone in marketing isn't a carpenter . . .

Well, I'm just a simple country boy down here in Mississippi, but their picture tags seem to be a bit outta whack, in that what they call a compound miter doesn't appear to be compound.  Don't know ...

Oh it's compound alright;
The miter is a 45 and the bevel is a 0. Those are the 2 angles.

*snicker*

If I wasn't familiar with the brand and I saw that, it wouldn't leave the best impression.  Since I am familiar, I can laugh (at someone's expense no doubt).

I'm irritated by the ad that shows the HKC cutting a 45 bevel on a 2x.  It doesn't actually do that as advertised.

Too funny. I also pickled up the magazine at an airport during a layover and noticed the same mixup. The captions are just on the wrong pictures. Working in manufacturing over the years I have lost count of the number of ads I have seen illustrating left-hand drills. I always chalked it up to reversed nevatives but I still see it these days in the age of digital.

Is no one going to comment on how clean, new, and empty the tool belt is?
