Does Festool drop ship it's products?

I have bought a CT22, a TS55 and a Domino; but all used.
Last week I bought my first new Festool product, a 5 pack of the things to reduce splintering with the TS55.  It came directly from Festool, even though I ordered it from a store.

Is that normal, or was the store out of stock?

  Sometimes dealers ship an order directly or sometimes they have Festool drop ship for them. Depends on the dealer, his stock, the items, the distance/shipping cost, etc.
