Has anyone noticed  the plastic  packaging for accessories like drill bits and such.  Unlike most other types you don't have to destroy it to get to the goods.  Is this for return purposes?  Is there a way to get them back to Festool for reuse?  I can't think of what I would do with them, and it seems like a waste to throw them out, or am I over thinking it...?

Hi,

I use them for mini paint trays.  Many of the sizes are perfect to use with painting pads. Plus the lid can be closed to keep the paint fresh overnight or even for several days.

I will reuse the packaging:  I put the accessory back in the plastic box one I have finished with the accessory, then I will store on hook on my garage wall.  I find it easier to find again.

Have to admit that I am very happy that the packaging allows reuse rather than these thief-proof sealed plastic containers that may of my kids's toys come in now

Festool makes it specially because it does not have anything to hide. You can come, see, ask questions and touch it.

I like them for gluing.  For example, the container for the BHS65 drill bit holder was just the perfect size to hold and keep about 2oz of glue in, and dip my brush into.

Great green solution!?? Yeah??!  Problem:  Pour it out, let it dry, break the dry glue free.. bam, reuse again.  You only need one.

What to do with all the others!?

Great ideas here...I had been keeping them with the accessories for storage.

Hmmm...I wonder if you could use them for your favorite dip and snacks???
