I'm unsure if this is the right area but here's my query.
Started a project with a large office desk. Due to the size and future need to move it, I opted to design it so it can be taken apart and assembled over and over. I picked up the Domino 500 connector set l so far all is well for vertical panels, small file cabinet and the top.
My problem comes from the caps. I picked up all the colors to see them and for future projects, but I noticed the "dark brown" caps are more of a "natural oak" color. I require an actual dark brown, like a black or dark walnut color. So all I have is silver, white, tan and darker tan.
Other than using some larger fascap dark walnut PVC screw caps (they leave glue and wear out of removed to often, not preferred) are there any other options any knows of? Is Festool going to make any actual dark brown caps?
FYI the regular size fascap screw caps will fit into the hole drilled for the lead holder and set/grub screw. If lucky it goes flush and only adheres to the set/grub screw.
