I got my Domino out last night and was cutting some slots when I noticed that the bottom plate was dented. It wasn't dented in like I had banged it against something hard, it was dented out from the instrument side, as though the cutting mechanism had banged hard against it. The dent is about 1/2 to 3/4 inches in a straight line, and probably protrudes 1/32" - 1/16". The plate does not sit flat anymore. Aside from that, everything still seems to work. I have some pictures if anyone is interested. Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?
The Domino is under warranty, so I'll have to take or send it in. I have a few questions for those of you who have been through the process:
* Does Festool have regional service centers, or only the online service center?
* If I take it in to the dealer where I bought it, will they send it in for me?
* If there are regional service centers, is there one in the Denver area?
* Any other advice for a Festool Service newbie?
