Axminster have certainly got their act together on overseas shipping since the introduction of the Parf Guide System. I understand that they have a very slick and efficient system in place for all the kit that leaves the UK.

My experience is that shipping time US > EU varies a lot. But I can imagine there is space left over on the other way around, so that might be less often delayed.

But I've seen "ordered monday, wednesday delivered" on Hong Kong - Europe stuff. Especially since customs was sort of privatized.
