Domino DF 500: How to execute END to FACE joints?

Hi all, I've gotten some use out of my Domino, but I'm designing the bed rails and footboard for my existing headboard and can't quite wrap my head around how I will execute the joinery for rails to head and footboard. I will use Zipbolts (essentially bed bolts) at all 4 joints, strengthened by 2 (or more?) dominos.

The rails will be roughly 1.5" thick and on its side (oriented for strength, see pictures). So the dominoes will be in the end grain of the rails, and the face grain of the head and footboard. My question is, what's the best way to get those mortises all in my planned locations, so that when I tighten the bed bolt, everything is lined up (straight line through dominoes and bolt in head of the rail to the foot of the rail.

I've read through some supplemental manuals on FestoolUSA, and saw end to face mentioned, but never saw it expanded upon. I've included pictures of some of my design if it's helpful. Thanks!

I have been meaning to load up my method of doing this joint.  It basically follows the manual, but I don't like lining up the pieces to a line.  Instead, I created a set of parallel guides so I can get a repeatable spacing on both ends.

Not to discourage you from being extra sure of strength with a bed, but I'm not sure you need Dominos given you are using hardware spcifically made for the use to which you are putting it. I believe that, if installed correctly, the hardware you are using is made just for the purpose of joining the rails, head, and footboards. The dominos may complicate the project without really adding too much. I'm not a bed making expert, but I do know that the hardware is designed for just your use and,  therefore, is commonly used without additional strengthening and joinery components. Others may respond on this. (I know you want to use the Domino, but. . . .)

I was thinking I could just use the extended pin stops that come with the set to reference one edge, and that references left/right. Then use either a line (less ideal) or a stop block to locate up/down.

Or use both outriggers for spacing and make both mortises in the same vertical location, differing only horizontally.

Or, I could stop planning to the nth degree and forgot the domino... But I like it!
