This has been going on a while and until now I have been blaming myself. After making my reference marks and making my mortise my joint matchups are off a 32nd or so (see picture) I think this is a scale zeroing problem, but I don't want to adjust something and end up down a rabbit hole. I started making this tray today and all 4 of my joints, single domino, were off the same amount. What needs to be adjusted or do I need to get better glasses. Thanks in advance.

If you're using the flippers to cut in from each end and tight-to-tight, they have micro-adjustments to move left and right. If you're using tight-to-tight, it's probably necessary to get these micro-adjustments dialed in on a few test pieces before moving on with more cuts.

If you are doing this by a pencil mark and aligning to the center mark on the clear plastic mark on the fence, there is an adjustment for that. There isn't much movement to the scale, but it doesn't take much. You only have to move it half the distance that the alignment is off. Loosen the screws, move it very slightly and retest. It doesn't take much.

Put on some reading glasses and move the plastic scale a 64th or so, one way or the other, determined by trial and error.
It's worth the effort to get it right before getting serious with your project.

Second the video as there might be a little more to being able to move the curser window. As I recall there is room to move it one way but to go the other way a little bit of plastic needs to be filed or sanded off.

I centered the cursor on my 500 without removing plastic, but it was very close out of the box. I used Halfinchshy’s method.
