Domino for joining bell shaped oak handrail mitres

Hello,
So have some connections to make on oak handrail, connection being plane of stairs to level (handrail ). Is this reasonable application? Or is their a better alternative.

It works great for that. I've done a lot of hand rails and the building code here requires the ends return into the wall. I used to use screws and plugged the hole.  It worked but the jointed always wanted to move. I always used filler on the seam.
Since I got the domino 500 my returns have been spot on and very tight
The domino is a great tool for railing systems.
I recommended you reference off the flat bottom of the rail.
I got that hand rail guide but I have never used it.
