Domino mortise width setting stuck...

Just ran into a problem with my domino (at an inconvenient time, of course) :

The last time I used it I left it in the widest setting. Now the selector switch is stuck and I can't figure out how to budge it. Any suggestions (other than sending it in since I'm in a time crunch) .

Try changing the width settings with the machine running. If that doesn't work contact Festool service, they will have it repaired in no time.

Sorry for the trouble. As Dave suggested, make sure the machine is running when switching width settings as stated in the manual. Thanks for the fast responses. I had tried to change it while it was running, but no go. I then tried running it, turning it off, then switching it and after several attempts it grudgingly changed. The switch still feels "sticky ", but seems to br working now. If it keeps being a problem I'll send it in after I finish trimming out the house I'm on right now.

Again, thanks for the fast responses everyone! This is one reason I've bought into the green koolaid as far as I have!

Is it possible that you may have gotten glue on the switch?  [scratch chin]
