Domino on an inverter

Can you run a domino (500) on an inverter? Modified sine wave.  1000w?

My first thought is "sure, why not?" It's electronically fairly simple, with a bunch of computer chip circuitry for "speed control" etc. which might not like it's A/C power in a not ideal form.
But then, my senses kick in and say, "are you wiling to bet on that?....with a $1K tool?"

I think a Honda 2200 is a pure sine wave machine. The inverters I want to use are modified sine wave.
Also, looking for a wattage rating. The domino says 450w, but motors will require more on startup.
A small 500w inverter would be ideal, but not sure if it'll run it.

No one has tried to run a domino on an inverter before?

Is it a brushless motor, or brushed?

I have run my Kapex and CT26 vac on a Honda EU2000i without any problems whatsoever.

I have a 3000 watt inverter and I've done it with the vac. I'd be more concerned about running it without the vac.

No they will not run on a modified sinewave

FWIW, my Trion would not run on a Dewalt power station.  Flip the switch and nothing happens.
