Domino Pantry Drawers

I have two (2) Porter Cable dovetail jigs permanently setup along with two old P-C routers that are permanently setup.

I can cut dovetails in minutes and the drawers will have the classic dovetail look.

The only time-consuming part of dovetail joints is setting up the router to the right depth.  I bypass that issue by having them permanently set up.

I recognize that this is an extravagant expenditure, but it is fast and turns out really nice drawers.

I now cut dovetails by hand and have sold my Leigh jig. I agree with you that your way of using a dedicated jig (any brand) is the most efficient approach to make lots of drawer joints. The look is also the best to most woodworkers.

I'd use exposed tenons in drawers only if the drawers are meant for shop or storage use, and not in a furniture piece.

I watched the video and said...that does not look like my Domino - what are these flap things? (just joking).

Mine is so old I have pins!  [big grin]

I do them separate. Not too bad with the right setup and once you get going the mistakes are hard to make.

I take a pass with the MFK 700 vertical and a mortising bit to flush the tenons up.

This is awesome. Thank you all.
I did watch the video where he was using a dovetail jig to keep stock perpendicular.
Didn't know what It was.
Thanks for sharing the HF item.
