I just received my set of domino spacers for the pin-type domino from John at www.toolimprovements.com. Have not had a chance to use them yet but I wanted to post this because I don't know if they are well known and I think they are a great idea. The spacers fit onto the pins of the domino and center the bit at common center-lines.

I was wondering if they would fall off in use, but once I received them I realized they have a magnet embedded into them to hold onto the pin. Great idea!

Kudos John.

I use them a lot; fantastic idea.  If you have the rail/stile parts all cut, you can easily Domino the whole thing together quickly with no pencil lines with these.

Yes, I bought the guide rail "bushing" from John off ebay.  It's the perfect solution to the slack in the guide rail.    I also bought his version  of the bench dogs.

I have seen the Domino Pin Spacers and have tried to think of a reason that I needed them.  Maybe someday I'll pick them up.

I love all the extra accessories guys have made for Festool tools.          I wish my brain worked in a creative manner.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words and am glad my products are working well for you.  The website needs to be updated, but while trying to balance family time, career, and hobby time, the website  has unfortunately taken a back seat.  You can always see current products on ebay under the username toolimprovements and if you contact me through the FOG I can usually save you some money on shipping.

Thanks again,

John

John,

Great idea on the pin spacers, I'll probably be contacting you soon to add these to my collection.
