Whats the deal with my new Domino, the clear plastic window scale is off a hair from center?  I backed the screws out and tried to adjust it but it wouldn't go far enough to the left! Do I have to break out a file, and bore the holes bigger to fix this tool that I just dropped 1K on!!!??

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Thanks.

Return and get another one.  Why try to "rig" something that shouldn't need it?

Interesting thread: link

I read people had that problem before (I mean before the linked thread above), and some have made the holes for the screws in the plastic thingy larger, so they could adjust it more; I probably would have returned it myself before doing such a thing to a new tool.

If I remember correctly, I had to move the cursor the opposite way that the manual said.  ???

Thanks for the link.  I read over some of the info, and I'll give it a try.  I didn't want to go through the trouble of sending it back so I made the holes larger and moved the plastic window over.  This however did not fix the alignment problem.

If I understand the post correctly this is because the problem is in the actual fence?  It sounds like the post is saying the real deal for indexing is the line on the bottom of the base, and that the clear plastic window must be in sync with this line.

Very helpful info, Thanks!

I had this problem w/ mine when I got it, but I had enough room to adjust perfectly, albiet, I used the very last available space in the existing holes to do it.
