domino spacing in wide stile

I'm building several large frame & panel structures with wide stiles (4-5") using black walnut.  I would like to use 2 10x50 dominoes per stile end.  If I place each mortise in the stile end grain an inch apart do I have to worry about seasonal movement splitting the stile (or rail) where the corresponding rail has the mortise in long grain?  I realize I could make one rail mortise a little oversized but once I apply glue it won't make any difference.

Suggestions?

Your plan sounds perfect to me. I'd use the standard (narrow) setting for all the mortises.

4 or 5 inches should not be enough to worry about.  (Assuming you are talking about legit dry material to start with)
It's wider panels, like table tops, where this becomes a thing. (or wet wood, like construction soft wood, it can shrink a lot)
