I tried to use the trip stop this evening and it worked ok, but manually trying to center something is tough with my eyes.

I think that in the future I'll build in mm's not fractions and even mm's at that.

As anyone figured out an easy way to make it center? This is one area where Festool could improve the unit, $50 dollars for a piece of plastic you would think for that price they could figure out a way for it to self center. Wishful thinking.

I do love the Domino though.

My eyeball centering days are long gone. ;)  If you scribe a line to mark the center, you can then use the hairline to center, then tighten the sides to meet the piece. Once you have th first one set up, the rest are just production pieces.  I think it is a great attachment - use it all the time.

Steve,

Use Ricks manual to center the scale on the fence first.  Once that's done use that scale for exact centering.
