This.

I have the Kreg foreman (electric, portable). The kreg kits are fine for little fixes where nothing else will work, but the foreman makes making the holes so fast and easy that your time investment will pay for the $850 tool on your first job. The kreg plugs are usually more pain than they are worth, esp on hardwoods. Never had one work right, good time for a domino.

I have a Domino and the $100 Kreg kit and a Kreg Foreman.

Here's what I say.  Go ahead and get the Domino and use it for everything you can.  Use it for the cases, building the face frames and attaching the face frames.  Don't use any mechanical fasteners at all, just tenons, glue and clamps.

Way more fun than pocket screws.
