Domino XL for Cedar Timber Frame

For the record, I am not assuming they are load bearing. I doubt many builders would even consider doing that for a structural connection, especially not the guy in the videos who seems to have some good street cred. But... the op was asking about "structural integrity" so i had to cast my disbelief.

 
Even if the Dominoes were strong enough, I'd be concerned with the joints pulling apart over time as the wood dries and shrinks. If you look at standard timber frame joinery, you'll see that tenons are always pinned with a dowel through the housing and never glued together.
