Domino XL For Window Stiles and Rails ?

I make wood windows and am considering the Domino XL for my shop. I've watched several videos of folks joining flat surfaced wood together. My two pieces of wood have a cope cut on one piece that joins to it's matched profile cut on the other piece.

My question is: Is this an appropriate use of  the Domino XL, joining two none flat pieces of wood?

The easiest way to use the domino for this is to machine the mortises before doing the profile. You need to calculate the depths a bit to figure for how much length you lose in profile but it is a good way to strengthen the joints as well as lining them up.
