Dominos For This Chair?

I'm going to be making this chair and was thinking about using all Dominos in place of traditional tenons.  Is this possible?  Possible to use on the curved back rails?  What sizes would you recommend?  I have both a 500 and 700, so I have a wide range of sizes at my disposal.

Cut the mortises in the horizontal rails before you cut the curves if possible.
Another option is to cave the  cut-offs to use as shims to position the Domino.

For size, I'd shoot for 8mm but I'd try to keep the cheeks of mortices at 1/4" unless that makes the tenon less than 6mm. So, 6 and 8 unless you can go bigger.
