Don't like sawhorses? Keter work tables

Wow, thanks for this! It looks like the adjustable one is a new model and now comes with four "holding clamps" and two toggle clamps. Details: http://www.keter.com/products/folding-work-table-2#benefits.

I tried a Google search on the new model, excluding the old model, and got no hits for NA.  [sad] (Search parameters = keter 17199331 -17182239) Plenty in the UK, however...

I personally find that 30" is too low for comfortable working for any length of time, but as a sawhorse substitute, I think it would be ok. But I'm definitely going to keep my eye out for the new model showing up.

I'm with you there, 30" is way too low for me.  I have no idea how new the this updated model is, and they just haven't made it here yet.

Boy, I wish I could get a hold of a couple of the adjustable leg version. [sad]

Brice, if you want I can check and see if my Costco has any. They wouldn't be THAT expensive to ship.

Sure, the next time you're there take a look to if they have any, thanks.

My Costco has dozens of them. Using round numbers, the table is $60 tax is about $5 and shipping would be $28, so ~ $93 delivered to your door.

How many would you like?

PM me on how to send you $$ and I'll send you my shipping addy. (In Florida)

Thanks for offering to do this!  [thumbs up]

Cheers,

Only if you PROMISE to bring me back some NAINA swag when you come back!

Just kidding - but I do need your zip to figure shipping as the number above was for Brice's location. And I'm not sure exactly how I will package it, but I think I have enough cardboard around to make up a decent box. Do you suppose I could use the precision depth setting on my TS75 to 'crease' the cardboard? Hmmm....

Zip is 32909.  I'll be coming back to Germany for a final three weeks in May. I'll try to bring back some NAINA items in my household goods, so I'll be online here to see what people want.
Mutual back scratching is a GOOD thing!

Cheers,

Frank

Anybody else want in on the deal? If I'm gonna make a Costco run it might as well total $500-$1000 like usual!

Shipping to your location will be $1,375 - which you might recognize as the price of a Kapex?

;D

Seriously, Fedex says it will run $33.02 based on 28 pounds. Since I don't know the exact weight yet it might vary a couple of bucks, but not much.

No matter... that's perfect. [eek] [big grin]
PM me how to send you $$.. I'm PM'ing my address.

Thanks again,

Frank

I picked one up at my local Costco tonight for $60…seriously considering grabbing a second one.  I was intent on just getting one to set my kapex on for on site work but having a second instead of taking one of the mat's with me would be really handy.

These are now stocked by Screwfix in the UK - I was in the Bradford branch yesterday & they had some out on the shop floor display. I was surprised at how sturdy they are. I'm seriously considering giving one a try. Screwfix are charging £59 inc VAT.

Looking forward to your feedback, jimbouk!

Been using mine for the last few days fitting a kitchen on site. Been brilliant. Strong enough to stand on and flips out or back in seconds. Going to get a second one for sure. I might make an mft top for one. Thanks for the heads up wow!

Jrb the only downside is the screwfix ones are not heigth adjustable. But im 6" and they are fine. Would def recommend them. Other fitters seen them on site and getting them now.

You're welcome! Being relatively new here I am trying to make a good impression and earn my stripes...

I think that's just made my mind up!

Now I've just got to remember that it's a work bench, not a dump-anything-on-it-'cos-it's-a-flat-surface bench!!! [eek]

Thats the beauty of them mate, dumping zone on the shelf underneath means you still got somewhere to sit at tea time ;)

Costco have the height adjustable one for £60 looks quite handy with the clamp and stops  that slot into a t track.

Don't want to spend the money but you guys are making me think I really need this for site work and setting the Kapex on.

It's the best $60 I've ever spent. I'm going to grab a second one tonight.

I'm going to have to check the Costco in my city when I work on that side of town again.
