Don't like sawhorses? Keter work tables

It's the best $60 I've ever spent. I'm going to grab a second one tonight.

Quality and utility-wise, I think these things are on par with Festool products. Now if they only mage that clamp strip green....

So, I got the non-adjustable first, and I'm probably going to buy another one of these, PLUS an adjustable leg version (Thanks WOW for offering to send!).

I was hoping that the first one would be the right size to mount my new Laguna REVO 10x16 Mini-Lathe. Wasn't sure, but it fit like a hand in a glove, and JUST the right height for turning on it! [big grin]

These are incredibly well designed and functional tables.  Match made in heaven!!  [thumbs up]

Here's the lathe on the table. (I will be securing the lathe at the corners by drilling through the plastic and using small bolts. (Already checked and it will work easily!)

Get one! You'll love it! [drooling]

Cheers,

Frank

I bought to of the adjustable versions and had a chance to use them on Friday doing an install of a laundry room.  I used one for my kapex and the other as a work surface.  They both did exactly what I asked of them.  With the kapex on one table set on the lowest setting I adjusted the other table to the highest setting and could use it for long stock support - on the lowest setting the kapex sits at approximately 34 1/2" and the other table at the highest setting sits at 34".  The tables were stable enough for me to use one of them to plane down some stock with a block plane using the hold down clamps that came as part of the package.  These will permanently stay in my van and be my dedicated install tables.  They were well worth the money.

My Costco still has quite a few of these. Some folks were having trouble finding them so when I picked up Frank's table today I took a picture of the shelf tag and of the stack. Maybe this will help somebody...

Sorry don't have a link as I was in my local costco and there was a big stack of them with one set up.  Might be worth calling your local store to see if they are in stock

Hmm, Guess I'm going to have to pick up a couple of the extendaleg models as well.  I received one of the standard tables for Xmas, and when I noticed them on sale at walmart after the holidays I couldn't resist five more at $42 each.

There does appear to be a difference with the clamps between the extend leg model and the standard leg model.  The Extenda comes with 4 holding clamps and 2 toggle clamps, while the standard came with 2 12" bar clamps that fit in the groove of the table.  Not sure which I prefer, found the bar clamps quite useful so far.  Two of the tables with clamps didn't face any problems holding a 6x6" beam while I was running a scrub plane over it.

No wobble?

Picked up two of them today at my local Costco [big grin]

Seems like the online item search does not bring them up but many of stores do have them!

NYC, well, there was some wobble at first while the tables settled into a good position, but the other two beams weighing the tables down did quite a bit to hold things in place.

I need to clean up a couple more of those beams later this month, adding on to the son's playset in the yard.  I'll make sure to snap some pics.

Having the tables was definitely easier than the first time I cleaned up some of these beams(technically landscaping timbers, but there's passable lumber in the local sawmill's "meh, whatever" cuts that wind up on the landscaping pile).  I balanced them on 5 gallon buckets and pushed one end against the block wall in the garage and planed in one direction.

Picked up two last night, seems they changed the clamping options from the one I got a couple of years ago for the brother in law, now they come with holding clamps & toggle clamps instead of the Irwin style quick clamps, well at least the ones here in N Nevada came that way--!

Just picked up one of the non-adjustable ones from Screwfix - I had £25 in free vouchers (given by customer services as I'd had problems with a couple of orders) so it only cost me 35 quid!!!

Will put it to the test next week. [big grin]

Let us know!!!!  I'm thinking of buying two.    More I look at it the more I like it.

I want something cheap but sturdy for site work but heavy duty enough.

Also light in weight!

This seems to for fill all my requirements

Used mine today. They worked great to break down sheets and then I set my Kapex on one so I could use my MFT for assembly.
They set up and break down very quick. I also use them yesterday to cut some framing and it was so nice having a larger work surface to cut some shorter boards on, rather then trying to balance on a saw horse. [tongue]

My local Costco finally got these in, and I picked up two yesterday. For the price these things are great. Much easier to move around and store than my MFTs, but not as good for bigger jobs.

My thanks to "wow" for the heads up.  [thumbs up]

Is Costco the only source in the USA for the adjustable legged Keter? I can only find the fixed legged version from other suppliers.  This would be a good Toolnuts product, no?

I went on keter site and they listed other places to buy like sears and Walmart, and went to 2 of each close by and neither had, Costco is the only place locally I have found them.  Don't have a costco membership to buy.

Ok you guys win,i am off to get one today!
For those in Australia the fixed leg version is carried at Masters Hardware (Lowes),cant find an adjustable leg version but have a local Costco so hopefully it will appear on the shelves one day.
If you must carry saw stools as well i have for the last year been using some stanley tools branded ones with metal legs and plastic tops which fold up and click together for transport.I think they may be branded Dewalt in NA,anyway despite a little apprehension when buying them they have bee really good, they are very strong and take up little room in my ute. With a sheet of ply they make a resonable track saw bench for quick and easy site use.
Several tradies on site have bought them since seeing me use them.Got mine at Masters for around $100 a pair.
Now what to do with my 30 year old B and D workmate?

I can pick some up for you if you like.  I need to make a costco run in the next few days anyway and wanted to check these out.  I'm only about 10 miles from you.

I appreciate the offer, but I am not sure if I really need 1. The Costco on Route 9 and Texas Road had a bunch the time I looked.  They didn't ask to see any card when I walked in, so I figured I would check them out.
