I had a problem with the Carvex 420 when trying to cut straight notches with the SAw in a few pieces of 2by4. I used the thicker 75mm blade and while the cuts were 90 degrees to the face i needed to angle the SAw about 15 degrees to be able to follow a line without IT drifting.

Does this make sence? What did i do wrong?

Shouldn't have to do that, and I don't have any immediate answers as to why that would be.  Is the upper blade guide correctly tightened?  What level pendulum stroke are you using?

I would change blades.
The blade is either in at an angle, or does not cut on one side.
15 degrees should be visually apparent.

+1 on the blade

I found the same cutting laminate with a jigsaw and track guide base. Even after 4 cuts with a new fsg blade, it would pull the jigsaw off to the side. I could literally hold the rail with the base hooked into it, and it would pull the whole works off the mark by 1/4" in 6".

I'm still baffled how a blade with such a wide set would be so adversely affected...But I tested this theory several times with different blades and they all did the same.
