Drywall sanding

Anyone have an opinion on using CTS 125 for sanding small drywall repairs? Bad for the sander? Grit recomondations...

Perfectly fine, I use mine all the time for this. I use 120 or 180 mostly. If you're not sure, start out with the finer grit and see how that works, if it's too slow you can go to a coarser grit.

This is perfect.  I was just lamenting the fact that this morning I have to pull sand some dips in the ceiling/ walls where I just put up some crown and filled them with joint compound.  Very dusty.  I'm gonna use my ets125 that now just gathers dust since I got my Pro 5 LTD.  Brilliant!

+me on the use of the 125. I have used both my ETS 150 and my EC 125 for drywall and it is awesome at the dust pickup.

I have the CT vac and the combination works a peach when you only have a few spots to hit. Anything else and the 36 comes out.

You can get this from Mirka now. Their products are amazing, especially the lower grits.

I'm finishing a basement for a customer and ended taking on the drywall myself.  Hating the taste of finishing compound I borrowed a friends Easy Planex.  As it is my first experience with the Planex I've found that I've gouged the joints several times, the ETS 150 smooth's them right out for me.  For the smaller spaces I've been using my ETS 150/3 with 220 Granat.  Works great!!!  I like the fine control I get with the ETS 150 vs the Planex. 

I have a CT-26, not the CT-36 AC so I started with a clean bag and periodically pop open the CT and shake the bag.  I'm nearly done and can't say that I've noticed any significant loss of suction. 

I'm having fun with the under-stairs space of the basement.  I've included closet, reading niche and a doggie den!

Love it, especially the reading nook!  I've wanted to do a "room under the stairs" ever since my kids read the first Harry Potter book.
