We are purchasing a new dust collection system (nordfab piping) and I'd like some advice from fellow foggers on what to use to support and suspend the main trunk line.  It will be supported from the ceiling (16'high at walls and 22' at peak of vaulted part).  The ceiling will have metal sheeting over the 4' oc trusses.  I've looked at the gripple hangers from Nordfab: http://www.nordfab.com/nordfab-products/hangers/gripple-hanger/ but am not sure thats the best option.

Advice?

Thanks,  Weston

I use their piping in my small work shop for my dust collection system and use the

and a custom brace with holes I  bend into shape and attach to the ceiling (shaped like this:

Just use a bolt to connect the 2 but you could drop this further with an extended bolt/metal bar with some threads on both ends to suit your needs....

You many want to look into some of the hangers used to do industrial plumbing, some can be found in the big box stores, you just have to think outside of the box. ;D

Just my way. MARK

I am happy with the Gripple hangers--easy to install and adjust, stable over time.  The braided wires are longer than what I needed but can be cut or just wrapped around the ducting (leaving flexibility for future rearrangements).  The other solutions suggested would be fine as well.
