dust collection

many have commented on poor dust collection on various models of mitre saws i have used my dw718 for years without dust extraction however i connected it to my ct22 today and found it to be acceptable however it could be better, does anyone have any mods for the dw718

Do you mean the DW 708? I thought the 718 is the new one. I have tried several things with my 708 and ended up with a box built behind the fence with a 2 1/2" hose attached. I mainly do straight cuts with this setup.

the718 is the new one i do alot of angle cuts so the box would have to allow for thought it would be more common than not but not many people have replied
