I have a trusty CTL26E extractor and could use another for my main workshop. I have seen one on eBay that is correctly(!) described as scruffyhttps://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/festool-...dd6a6c:g:EvUAAOSwBPxchYJg&LH_ItemCondition=4.
Having had a close look at the details it became apparent that this machine was imported from Denmark (a material fact that should have been disclosed in the eBay listing). The interesting point for me is that the Danish machine has a lower power rating for the socket outlet than my existing UK machine (presumably the Danish machine was modified with the UK socket shown). I could not find the product code 202153 on the Festool website. I am not interested in a non-UK spec machine that has been adapted but out of interest I have had a proper look at the manual and it seems there are various versions of the machine for different territories.
My UK machine states a limit of 1800W for the socket whereas the Danish machine states 1100W. These details are set out in the manual as below, which also shows the EU limit as 2400W.

I have regularly used my OF2200 router (2200W) through the socket that is stated as 1800W without mishap. So my question is whether the different stated limits for different territories are for some regulatory reason or whether the electronics are actually different in each territory?
Cheers
