Dust/wood chip pan for MFT/3

Been a while since I posted. Still around...

I’ve been tinkering with this idea for a while and recently had the Eureka moment realizing I can do this in fiberglass as I was unable to buy a pan commercially with the right size…. (I am sailing/used to fiberglass and Epoxy after all).

This is weird timing. A couple of weeks I was thinking about something similar and wondering why no one has ever offered a chip pan commercially. I took my fantasy a step farther picturing the pan being fastened to the underside of the top and having a dust port (close off the holes in the perforated top as nenesssry to create custom-sized downdraft tables). Probably impractical but....

A down draft table would be a cool idea. Would require a way stiffer pan, most likely would have to be metal with reinforcements....

I just want to catch most of the crap falling thru the MFT/3 table top dog holes so the stuff stored beneath stays cleaner longer....
