Dutch Tool Chest, Festool Style

I used the Dutch Tool chest designs popularized by Christopher Schwarz and modified to fit my taste. The paint color scheme is using Festool colors to match my MFTC workbench. The cabinet lock on the top is similar to the latches used on systainers, but is made from brass. The door style is different from the Dutch style, and will double as a place to clip cutlists and designs as well as serve as temporary tool racks.

Nice tool chest; hope you'll get many years use out of it.
The only thing I'd have done different is with the selection of the stock used in the rails of the doors. The usual practice is to make the lower rails from one piece of stock and the upper ones from another one, so the grain flows from one side to the other. In fact, if you have wide enough stock, the very best thing to do is to cut all four pieces of rail from the same board. You first rip that board in half and use the "top" piece for the top rails and the "bottom" piece for the two bottom rails.
Additionally, the same concept can be used for the stiles; what I usually do is have adjacent pieces cut from the same board. In your case, if I didn't have one board wide enough to make all four stiles from, I'd rip one in half to make the two outer pieces (that is, the left stile of the left door and the right stile of the right door) and another one ripped in half to make the two inside (left door's right stile and right door's left stile) stile pieces.
